Option #1 involves a normal, fully-separating zipper – that is, the single slider disconnects completely and reconnects easily at the bottom pin+box feed to allow exiting your coat like a normal jacket. (OPT1s is a special version only available in the #10 size = this is a fully separating parka-style zipper with TWO sliders included.)

Option #2 includes two slider pulls on the same zipper track, and allows both pulls to be zipped freely up and down – however, neither are designed to disconnect fully (as it’s not possible to mold a giant zipper that is a separating 2-pull style) so the coat can either be pulled over your head or stepped into. (Or…you -can- still fairly quickly zip a slider off and on a zipper chain like so with a bit of practice…or to avoid pulling the slider off by accident, you can also add jewelery crimps to the edges) The 2 pull-look is the most accurate to the Organization 13 design.

Gauge = Heavy-duty (industrial) #30 gauge (1 inch width across of teeth, when zipped closed + 1 inch of fabric zipper tape on either side) comes in black, pewter & gunmetal. The lightweight (economy) #20 gauge option (1/2 inch width across of teeth, when zipped closed + 5/8 inch of fabric zipper tape on either side) comes in grey. The extra-durable (everday) #10 gauge option (3/8 inch width across of teeth, when zipped closed + 1/2 inch of fabric zipper tape on either side) comes in silver.
