Since we missed out on most of the Ohayocon action, Elemental took a few extra solo shots of Saeru’s Xaldin and my Xigbar cosplays at Kawa Kon, a little convention in St. Louis.

While Elemental was still in the country, we gathered a few local Chicago-based cosplayers and borrowed the upstairs lounge of the SushiSamba restaurant for a quick Photo Party.

Assembled on Friday night of Ohayocon 2009, we managed to work with Elemental to capture some interesting photos at the convention, which led to both an overall highlighted photo-shoot plus an individual featured photo on cosplay.com.

The Japanese edition of December 2008 issue of Cosmode 25 contained a slew of pages covering various cosplayers at Anime Expo 2008 in Los Angeles. Saeru got a shot of Anti-Sora in it, taken during the Cosplay.com costume contest on Saturday morning.

Saeru’s and Dual_wielder’s skit featuring Anti-Sora and Shadow Roxas appeared at New York Anime Fest 2008 Masquerade for the World Cosplay Summit Preliminaries.

Anime Expo relocated to downtown Los Angeles for its 2008 year, and when first passing by the Nokia Theatre there, we all couldn’t resist the Wold that Never Was look and managed to grab a few shots after the convention, despite sleep deprivation, broken flashes and failing batteries.
